SR Prabhu, the producer of Dream Warrior Pictures, has released it all over Tamil Nadu. ‘Kantara’ released today has received a good response from the people of Tamil Nadu. Following this, the film’s director and hero Rishab Shetty met and interacted with the press in Chennai.

During that time he spoke… “ Kantara – the mysterious region through the dense forest. This belief has existed in Karnataka since the eighteenth century. I wanted to tell the conflict between man and nature.

I basically entered the film industry from a farming family. I shot this film in my hometown. What I enjoyed watching in my childhood… I have depicted that in this film. I have made this film by highlighting the society that existed then… the faith of the people… our cultural roots. All over India, the people of each state have guardian deities and family deities in their area of residence. We are the ones who believe in such a guardian deity.

I believe that guardian deities have the power to keep people in balance without any discrimination of high and low in the society. As seen in the movie ‘Kantara’, I have seen people dressed up as goddesses at a young age. They treat everyone as equal. Rather than describing the kind of criticism it is currently facing, I have focused on creating a positive and stable vibration in society. The screenplay of this film is based on the belief that these guardian deities act as a bridge between nature and man, he said.
