Mahat Raghavendra, who is emerging as a young actor in the Tamil film industry, is making his debut as a hero in Bollywood with ‘Double XL’, a grand film directed by Chatram Ramani, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Hema Qureshi.
Mahat, who was introduced to the fans with Ajith Kumar’s ‘Mangatha’, then became popular in Tamil Nadu with ‘Bigg Boss’. Currently, the web series ‘Emoji’ released in his acting has garnered a lot of response from the youth. Mahat who has been making a mark with his performance in every film, while acting in a few films as a hero in Tamil, has made his debut as a hero in an action-packed Hindi film.

Working with director Chatram Ramani and Mudassar Aziz, Sonakshi Sinha, Hema Qureshi, who have worked so hard on the film, has been an amazing experience.

And Mahat said about his character in the film..
“More important than the screen time of a character is the impact it has on people’s minds. In that sense, this film will be a major turning point for me. Directed by Chatram Ramani, the film will be a wonderful work featuring two of the greatest heroines of our time. I am always looking for interesting characters. I have been acting in Tamil films for 10 years. This Hindi film has given me a new challenge and a new audience,” he said.
He also said, “This film has given me a good friendship with Zaheer. It is very rare to find true friendship in the film industry. I feel blessed to have found a perfect friend who has helped me at every stage during the making of this film,” he said.
‘Double XL’ hits the screens on November 4.
