Rivaan Dev Preetham, son of seven-time National Motorcycling Champion Preetham Dev Moses, started Karting in the FMCSI National Karting Championships in 2022 as a rookie.

In 2023, the ten year old participated in the Meco Meritus Cup which is a 3 round championship held in Bangalore Meco Kartopia Circuit. Rivaan won 3 out of the 6 races and won the overall championship trophy.

He then took part in the recently concluded MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship 2023. This is a five-round National Championship held for participants from all over India. Rivaan took part in the Under 12 Micro Max category which had 16 participants. He won 3 out of the 10 races and finished on the podium in almost all the races. Rivaan finished 3rd in the Finals held on 28th October and clinched the coveted National Championship Title for the year 2023. Rivaan is one of the youngest to achieve this in the history of the National Karting Championships.

As a grand prize for becoming No.1 in India, Rivaan has been selected to represent the country for his category, in the World Karting Championship Finals to be held at the Sakhir International F1 Circuit in Bahrain this December.

Rivaan’s goal is to represent India and race in the Formula One World Championship!
