Born in a very humble family in Thanjavur district, Rosie Meena competed in pole vaulting at the All India level and broke the national record twice.
He participated in the International Indoor Games and won the bronze medal on behalf of India.
At present, on the recommendation of Sports Minister Hon’ble Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who knew about his sporting talent, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Hon’ble Mr. M.K. Stalin’s Tamil Nadu Newspaper and Paper Company JO. On 2.11.2023, Tamil Nadu Government honored Rosie Meena by giving her junior officer post. M. To Senpaka Murthy (Co-producer of Red Giant Movies) Co-producer of Ratchagan Movie who provided necessary support to Rosie Meena from the very beginning and also to Chief Minister Aiyya and Sports Minister Udayanidhi Sir who gave this job opportunity and special thanks in this sports department. Rosie Meena showed gratitude to Mr. Chenpaka Murthy Sir who had given him the expensive pole (goal) and received the blessing by showing the official government order given to him.
