In a groundbreaking move, the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) has chosen “Dil Hai Gray” for an exclusive screening at TIFF, solidifying its place in the annals of Indian cinema.
Before the global premiere, first-of-its-kind audio teaser was released by Joint Secretary & MD NFDC Mr Pritul Kumar at Indian pavilion TIFF on Sep 11 evening , leaving everyone to imagine visuals . Prithul Kumar said “we received about 65 films , we had experts watching the films and we felt this one film fit very well that it can be showcased india’s creative economy in international level and technically the actors acted fabulously and everything part of this film fabulously well .. the idea of audio teaser is also a novel one .. it goes back to school days when we hear only audio tapes , memorising film dialogues which could ignite our imagination … it’s new attempt to grab audience attention “

Susi Ganeshan, when asked about the audio teaser launch, enthusiastically declared, “It’s a historic moment. TIFF serves as the perfect stage to introduce ‘Dil Hai Gray,’ AUDIO TEASER as it gives a unique experience to cinema lovers. It’s the debut of India’s first audio teaser, setting the bar for the future of Indian cinema. The audio teaser idea came into my mind when I noticed whole set was at pin drop silence when we shot a scene with “recorded voices “ … everyone will be at their own imagination till Oct 6th – the trailer release “
