India’s leading streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar will stream ‘Label’, an original series directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starring actors Jai and Tanya Hope, from November 10, 2023.
On this occasion, a special screening of four episodes of the “Label” series was held for the friends of the press.

This is my second series for Hotstar. They think that series is the next stage of TV drama, but this is the next stage beyond cinema, in the future web series will be bigger than cinema. The series I am doing is a testimony to that, one of which is on the label. We all think we need an identity, and this is a series that addresses the identity problem. I hope you enjoyed the episode you just watched. We have worked on it like a movie, all the songs are like a commercial film. Hope you like our team’s work. It was a pleasure to work with Arun Raja. I have done a film with Jai, but in this series he has transformed himself into the character. Dinesh has given very beautiful visuals and everyone has worked hard. It will be a great series. First platform for me, a platform is rare, thanks Arun Raja for setting up this platform. My dream is to become a director. Loved Arunraja’s films and it was a great experience working with him in this series, he was very clear that a community should not be misidentified even to escape. That was his favorite thing. Jay brought what we wrote to the screen. The label is the story of a person who breaks the seal that society places on us and searches for our own identity. It is difficult to sheet on a live location, but Arunraja has overcome many hurdles and sheets every day. He’s the coolest director, amazing artist, knows who to work with and how. At first they called me saying that they are doing a film, I heard a lot of stories but I will act only if I like it, Arun Raja was different to watch. The way he told the story so calmly surprised me. I really liked a character that I had never played before. Some people don’t take it well even if they tell the story, I saw the shot they took on the first day and it caught me right away. He has taken 5 hours of footage. It takes great talent to pull off a work like this and Arun Raja is amazing. I know Jai, my family friend, who has done a brilliant job in this. The label series is produced by Muthamil Productions. Music composer Sam CS has composed music for this series and cinematography is done by Dinesh Krishnan. B.Raja Arumugam is the editor and Vinod Rajkumar is the art director.
Four lyricists including Yugabharathi, Mohan Raja, Logan and director Arunraja Kamaraj wrote songs for the series. Shakti Saravanan has choreographed the choreography for Azhar.
Apart from Jai and Tanya Hope, this Hotstar Specials web series also stars actors Mahendran, Harishankar Narayanan, Charan Raj, Sreeman, Prince and Suresh Chakraborty.
