Small film, big film is no more – actress Khushbu talks at ‘One Way’ music launch event

‘One Way’ is a small budget pan India film – directed by MS Sakthivel

‘One Way’ is produced under G Group Productions and directed by MS Sakthivel. In this film, Panchanan is playing the hero of the story, and many leading stars including Kowai Sarala, Ara, Abdullah, Charles Vinod have acted.

Muthukumaran has done the cinematography for the film and Ashwin Hemanth has composed the music. Abhishek Darshan has taken care of the sound mix work while Saran Shanmugam has edited the film. Haswat Saravanan serves as Public Relations Officer.

The film’s Music and Trailer Launch was held at Prasad Label, Chennai. Actress Khushbu, directors RV Udayakumar, Agathyan, Paramuru, Vijaysree G, producer K. Rajan, writer Karan Karki were present as special guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the film’s director MS Sakthivel said, “Thank you to the special guests and journalists who have come here. Prapanhan sir agreed to produce this story immediately after hearing it. Apart from that, he made me work independently. We wanted Ilayaraja sir to compose the music for this film. But the budget didn’t allow for it, so we wondered what to do. It was then that we decided to hold an audition and select a music director. We will be the ones who auditioned the composer. Seven composers came and among them Ashwin did very well. We liked his work and that’s why we made him a composer. He has also done a very good job and has grabbed everyone’s attention.

There are many unexpected things in this film. Now the film will be many times more than what you have seen. Not only that, there is also a surprise in the film. In other words, ‘One Way’ is a pan India film made on a small budget. Even though it is called a small film, it does not appear to be a small film when you watch it. That’s how much the film will be. We have done our job well, now it is up to the media to help bring the film to the masses. People who watch the film will definitely appreciate it. Thanks.” said.

Actress Khushbu said, “Today there is no such thing as a small film or a big film. If a film is good, it will be a hit all over India and the platform for that has come a lot. First of all I have to thank the producer and director of this movie. The reason is that my brother has been cast in this film. I came here for him. Looking at the trailer and songs of the movie ‘One Way’, it seems that there is a big thing in the movie. Everything is very good in the film. Everything from music to cinematography is excellent.

My best wishes to Ashwin, the hero of this festival. Background music gives life to a film more than songs. Ilayaraja sir’s background music has given life to many films. Similarly, the background score of this film is also very good. Ashwin has made it very clear where music should come and where there should be silence without music. Director RV Udayakumar said, “It is a pleasure to have such a ceremony on this auspicious day. The presence of actress Khushbu has added a lot of strength to this film. Actress Khushbu stuttered while acting in her Tamil films. But she took it as a challenge and learned Tamil within a few days and mastered the verse. Now many platforms are vibrating with her spoken Tamil. Then his brother Abdullah used to be with her. He had a passion for acting, that’s why he has become an actor now!
