‘Gandhara’ is produced and released by Hombale Films who produced the blockbuster ‘KGF’. The movie ‘Kanthara’, centered on Panchuruli, the guardian deity of the tribal people living in the dense forests of Karnataka state, is getting a huge response from the fans. Made in Kannada, the film has been released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and has been a huge success both critically and at the box office.
The Tamil version of ‘Kanthara’ was released in Tamil Nadu cinemas on 15th October. It was released by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film, which was well-received by the audience, continues to achieve record collections without affecting the films of the leading actors released on Diwali. Actor and director Rishabh Shetty’s film ‘Kanthara’, in which he has acted emotionally in the climax scene, is still running successfully in more than 100 theaters across Tamil Nadu and is setting a record in collection, according to the film buffs.
