Superstar Rajinikanth has hailed “Kanthara”, written, directed and starring actor Rishabh Shetty, as a masterpiece of Indian cinema.
‘Kanthara’ is produced and released by Hombale Films who produced the blockbuster ‘KGF’. The movie ‘Kanthara’, centered on Panchuruli, the guardian deity of the tribal people living in the dense forests of Karnataka state, is getting a huge response from the fans. Made in Kannada, the film has been released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and has been a huge success both critically and at the box office. The Tamil version of ‘Kanthara’ was released in Tamil Nadu cinemas on 15th October. It was released by Dream Warrior Pictures.
