Makers of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ Donate 1 Crore to Amarar Kalki Krishnamurthy’s Foundation

‘Lyca’ Subhaskaran and director Mani Ratnam jointly donate one crore to Amarar Kalki’s Foundation.

Lyca group chairman Subhaskaran and Madras talkies producer Mani Ratnam have donated Rs 1 crore to Amarar Kalki Krishnamurthy’s foundation.

The novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ written by Amarar Kalki has been produced as a two-part film titled ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ by Lyca Productions and directed by Mani Ratnam. The first part of the film was released on September 30 worldwide and has been a huge success both at the box office and critically.

In this context, two companies, the Lyca Group and Madras Talkies, are delighted to support the efforts of the Amarar Kalki Krishnamurthy Trust, which is running to honor the fame, services and legacy of Amarar Kalki. And to promote the services of the foundation, Lyca Group Chairman Subhaskaran and Madras Talkies Producer and Director Mani Ratnam visited the Amarar Kalki Krishnamurthy Foundation.
