Director VC Vadivudayan, who wrote the story, screenplay, dialogues and songs of the film, said, “There is no shortage of ecstatic experience in the movie ‘Bampattam’ in terms of story, field, visual settings, art direction, and graphics technology.”
Set in a historical backdrop, ‘Bambatam’ is the story of an empire. Mallika Sherawat is going to enthrall the fans with her performance as the queen of that empire. Jeevan of ‘Dirtu Payale’ and ‘Naan Awanilhi’ fame plays the lead role in dual roles.

“Generally everyone’s life is a paradise. Similarly ‘Pambattam’ is the supreme game of an empire. The story of the film is about the ups and downs faced by that empire, the story travels in three periods namely AD 1000, 1500 and 1980. There was a lot of menagedal for this, like sets, costumes, and the atmosphere of the respective period.
We shot in Mumbai at a cost of crores of rupees in huge halls. The graphics in the film will appeal to all fans. The film has enough attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Hundreds of trained horses were used for battle scenes. Apart from Mumbai, we have shot in places like Chennai and Mysore Palace.” The director said that actor Arya had seen the trailer of the film and appreciated it.
