Aiswarya Rajesh is blossoming into a star performer with substance gets substantiated yet again with her powerful performance in this engaging flick that packs a punch towards the climax with some unexpected twists and turns!

She has played the pivotal, titular character to tailor made perfection and her body language while driving the cab backed by her eye-focus on the road warrants special mention as it clearly reflects the kind of homework that she has done to get into the skin of the character!

Aadukalam Naren is in his usual elements as a two-timing baddie.

Despite protests from her near and dear ones, Jamuna (Aiswarya Rajesh) takes to her dear dad’s (Pandiyan) profession as a call-taxi driver after he was brutally murdered by some political bigwigs who did not relish his presence in that arena!

While Jamuna and her family give up the task of seeking justice for that dastardly act, she quietly gets into a shell and starts concentrating on her cab-driving.

On an occasion, her cab-customers happen to be a bunch of hired killers whose agenda is to eliminate a politician.

They hold her at knife-point and ask her act the way they had planned it.

But the closing portions give a jolt not only to that gang but also to the audience!

Gokul Benoy’s camera has constantly remained dynamic in this road movie which also has a scintillating score from Ghibran.

Watch this solely for Aiswarya Rajesh’s sake.
