The trailer release of the film, which is ready in four languages, was held in Chennai. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj released the trailer of Lathi. Lathi film crew and special guests who participated in the event said:

Vinod agreed in 8 days. First, before telling the story, I want to tell you something. I said, you are the father of an 8-year-old boy. That’s all right, you tell the story first, I said. I hope the audience will feel what I felt after listening to the story.
There was no deliberate undershoot in the shoot. Fight scenes that take place in an unfinished building. The shooting took place in 80 days. Couldn’t avoid being beaten. I was amazed by the work of Peter Hein.
Two people will be discussed in the film. One is Yuvan Shankar Raja and the other is Peter Hein Master. Selvan called Pon.Parthipan in whichever cab I went. Can Peter Hein do what the Master asks? Special thanks to the art director Ganesh for making the doubted things easy.
45 years old, 32 films acting in fight scenes is normal. But Raghav has to hang from a wire at a height of 100 feet. We both jumped into the net from the 4th floor. Earlier I scolded Raghav for not telling his parents that there will be a lot of fight scenes. But, honestly, no kid can act. Thanks to him and his parents.
Nothing is more comfortable for an actor than when a producer steps in and works. Ramana and Nanda were such producers. This is the budget allotted to a film. But it was nice to hear that the producers themselves said that it would be nice to have these things, but to increase the cost. If there are such producers, you can jump from the 8th floor, not the 4th floor.

Thank you for this opportunity. Usually in cinema, the protagonists prefer to play a role with a big position. But the good or bad name of the police depends on the way a constable behaves with the public. Being a constable in reality is not easy as he has many challenges. Kudos to Vishal for choosing such a character as a hero for the first time.
Eight years ago, a leg arrived. I am talking about Vinod, I am going to direct a film. He said you should help for that. I told him to come with the date and time.

We were thinking of calling you Jangid Sir for the teaser itself. But we are invited to the trailer launch event. First, If we like the story, we will tell Vishal. If not, Vishal will hit. Loved hearing the Lathi story. We told Vishal. He agreed only a day after hearing the story.
A huge thanks to Peter Hein, Fight Training Director. The second half will have 45 minutes of fight scenes. I received National Award for Pulimurugan. After that he said that he is going to buy for the film. He worked diligently for 5 months and directed the fight scenes.

Peter Hein, who saw the film in its entirety, thought that I would win the National Award. But he said that after seeing Vishal’s performance in the final scenes, he will get it. He said that Vishal sir’s performance in the film will be talked about after Avan Ivan.
As cinematographer Balu spoke,
I am working on the fourth film with Vishal sir. He has acted very hard. He gets beaten up every day on set. But he said he will act regardless.
When the writer Pon. Parthiban spoke,
Just listening to certain stories brings positive thoughts. So did the prisoner. Likewise, listening to Lathi’s story also evoked positive thoughts. Lokesh, while writing for Kaadhi, said that the prisoner would not look him in the eye and speak. He told me to mark the scene as if talking with eye contact only in a few places. I wrote four scenes. But, he took only two scenes. Like him, Vinoth has researched and directed.
I have worked as an associate since Thamirapharani. Loves when he acts in fight scenes. Every day in the film is hit in every place. However, he has worked hard. He said Yuvan’s music is also enjoyable to watch.

Lathi Sarge is a film where all the technicians worked hard. Yuvan’s music will be the driving force that pulls in the audience. Excellent work by cinematographers Balasubramanian and Balu sir has given amazing visuals.
It was Vishal sir who helped us all to work well. Whatever was asked, Ramana and Nanda did it without hesitation.

When I went to invite Jangsid sir as a special guest, I was shocked to hear him telling true stories. Unimaginable things happen in real life. He has hundreds of stories. It is all hidden and everyone needs to know.
Lokesh is a universe. Hearing him tell his brother what he was going to do next was awe-inspiring.
Vishal’s view of audience and fans beyond actor and friend was subtle. He knows very well what line he is going to speak in every scene. However, he will suggest some changes. It was amazing to think how much he has listened to the minds of the audience while watching it visually.
