Makkalisai 2022 will start in Chennai tomorrow in Margazhi, directed by Pa. Ranjith
Director Pa. Ranjith’s
Neelam Cultural Center organized the Margazhi folk art program in 2020 and 2021 in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore with more than 500 artists, more than 100 film celebrities, political leaders and more than 15000 visitors and the program was very well received by the people.
Following this, this year Margazhiil folk program for 2022 will be held in Chennai on the 28th at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall and will start with parayisai mela rhythms.
Folk and tribal songs are staged on the first day of the program on 28th. On the second day, the 29th, there will be hip-hop music, which is a revolutionary form of black people, and Kanab songs, Chennai’s treasure. And on the last day of the program, on the 30th, the legendary stories of our people such as oppari songs and uplifting songs for liberation will be staged. Screen celebrities and political social organizations are ready to participate as special invitees and celebrate Lokasi with people.
