This much awaited comeback vehicle of Vadivelu after a long hiatus is supposedly a full length comedy believed to be a wholesome entertainer. But we get to see on the screen is something unexpected mainly owing to the fact that the script as well as the screenplay has not been supportive for the Comedy King to stage a dramatic comeback!
Banking on one-liners from the veteran’s earlier movies is tolerable only to an extent but the director has banked heavily on them and resultantly the expectations of the audience are not exactly fulfilled as the film’s comedy content is enjoyable only in bits and parts!
Vadivelu has put his best foot forward but to no great avail as the narration suffers owing to lack of new comic ideas on the part of the maker!
Both the leading ladies try their best to create a flutter but fail.
Anandraj scores well with his one-liners and it is evident that he is much more effective as a comedian than as a villain!
Redin Kingsley could possibly reduce the loudness of his voice!
Production values are rich.
Santhosh Narayanan’s musical scores elevates the mood of the film only to a limited extent.
The plot is about a dog kidnapper whose family-dog gets kidnapped by a kingpin.
Go watch it for the fun part with Vadivelu back in action!
