Thank you to everyone who attended the event. Very few producers in our society are making many films and the rest are struggling. I request the minister to take this into consideration and do good for them.

I was not surprised that Saminathan, a member of my family, came to this function. This government is a favorable government for the film industry. They are doing good for cinema. On behalf of all those getting certified at this place, I would like to say thank you… Thank you.
Producer RK Suresh said..
If Tamil cinema has risen beyond the corona period, it is because of Thenandal Murali. He took many measures and turned this period into the golden age of the producer association. I request the government to help the producers, thank you.
Producer Katrakada Prasad said..
This committee started its work without any funds. Those who were there before have emptied their bank balances and coffers and left. After their arrival, they have taken appropriate measures and changed the amount of Pongal and Diwali gifts. Their performance is excellent. If the elections are held again, I request them to continue without spending up to 10 lakhs.
Producers Association President Thenandal Murali said…
Thanks to Minister Saminathan for coming on our invitation. The best decision taken by our association is to recognize members who have been there for 25 years as life members. Earlier the film industry was completely in the hands of the producers. All decisions are taken by the producers. But that is not the case today. It needs to be changed. Action should be taken through the association. We can save ourselves only if all producers are united. The minister has promised to listen to our demands and take action. This festival honors veteran producers. I request that we respect and honor them.
Honorable Minister of Information Mr. M. P. Saminathan said that…
Hi everyone. This is a ceremony that recognizes producers who have been in business for more than 25 years. A 25-year tenure in a field is a great achievement. When our Chief Minister gave this department, he asked that this department should work well. I belong to a farming family and the situation in the cinema is that the farmer does not get the price for his produce. They said the association was also in financial trouble. The government led by our Chief Minister is also running the government in this kind of complicated situation. Tell him your requests and he will understand easily. This government is working as a government compatible with cinema. This government will definitely fulfill your demands, when the industry is already very backward, Corona was a big risk. Cinema is one of the most backward industries in Corona. In this situation, having people like Udayanidhi helping me is a huge plus for me. Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin, who was in the film industry, has now taken over as the minister, he knows all the details about the film industry, so I feel like the burden is less now. What should you do as a group to get Tamil cinema back on the road to success?
I say that the government is ready to do it if it decides. I will take this message regarding the grant to the attention of the Chief Minister and document it so that it can be done at the earliest. Also, I will take the arrangements for awarding to the attention of the Chief Minister and make all efforts to make it happen as soon as possible. This special association is doing very well. Greetings to all of you.
In this event, three resolutions were passed on behalf of the producer association.
- In the Tamil film industry as an actor, producer and distributor, Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin is currently a Minister in the Tamil Nadu Cabinet. We extend our heartiest congratulations for that..
- We are grateful to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin who supported the revival of the association which was not renewed for 20 years.
- We request the government to help the producers to build houses for the film city at Paiyyanur.
