The Press Meet of this action thriller which marks the debut of Malayalam filmmaker, Jiyen Krishnakumar was held at a Star Hotel recently which showcased the lead cast as well as the lead technicians all of whom coming up with brief addresses which their turns cropped up to address the gathering excepting for the film’s protagonist, R J Balaji whose speech was punctuated with humor coated punches as usual and of course coupled with meaningful remarks!
Taste this for a sample- What got me here will not get me there!
When this writer quizzed Balaji about it, he said, ‘It is all about learning and unlearning!
The efforts that we had invested while walking towards a particular target would not suffice while marching up further which means that more of such efforts will only help the individual concerned to reach the new target set!’
In his address, S. Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures mentioned about his efforts to get Balaji on board as despite his repeated efforts, he just could not get connected to Balaji.
‘But ultimately, Balaji himself got connected with this project but getting in touch by himself and once that happened, within a month’s time, the project started rolling! I also thank Aiswarya Rajesh for agreeing to come on board. I am quite impressed with the way Jiyen Krishnakumar handled the project. I take this opportunity to thanks the others in the cast and crew for having been cooperative!’
The animated gestures of Aiswarya Rajesh the film’s leading lady, stood out as the salient feature of her speech using which she explained how Jiyen Krishnakumar got her connected and committed to this project, mentioning about his Malayalam soaked Tamil accent!
The writer, director, Jiyen Krishnan mentioned about his association with Mollywood as also his desire to make it big!
‘I wanted to move up the ladder and hence thought of debuting at Kollywood ever since that desire took over me! Malayalam films are a bit slow while Tamil films move on, faster! I know I shall be able to move up the ladder through this route!’
He further added that he did not feel or experience much of a difference while comparing the making of a Malayalam film versus a Tamil film!
A few others from the cast and crew too spoke on the occasion and the most striking of them all was Joe Malloori whose mastery over Tamil language was exceptional while the fact remains that he hails from the God’s own country!
Vivek Prasanna, the upcoming versatile actor, who opened up the speech ceremony was brief but effective!
From the brief Trailer that was showcased, this action thriller scheduled for release on February 3rd 2023 is all set to showcase R J Balaji in a different light!
