Entering a male bastion and hoisting a flag there is indeed an herculean task but Brindha has come up triumphs by her effective presentation of this prison-escape drama the second half of which seems borrowed from the Hollywood classic The Great Escape (1963) helmed by John Sturges, though it is learnt that this Tamil flick is adapted from the Mollywood flick, Swanthanthryam Ardharathiriyil (2018)
Newcomer Hridhu Haroon doesn’t appear like a fresher at all as his portrayal seems very seasoned!
When his love-life is threatened and he is caught in the web of an intricate situation following which he gets imprisoned, all hell breaks loose as he plans a prison break accompanied by a couple of inmates!
Simha has a powerful role here but his characterization could have been better defined.
Anaswara Rajan seems to be a wrong choice for that character as she doesn’t appear to a heroine material.
Munishkanth infuses a bit of humor breaking the seriousness of the swcript.
The stunt sequences have been choreographed well and there appears an air of realism in them.
Sam. C.S.’s music upgrades the intensity of the tense moments.
Of course, there are gaps in the narration that appear illogical but over all, the treatment is commendable.
P.L.Thenappan is natural as the bigwig thirsting for the blood of the protagonist.
