Director Mohan Raja said, “Charles Prabhu, the director of the film, who worked as my assistant, is a hard worker. He contributed a lot to the success of ‘Velaikaran’. I thank him at this moment for that. I am honored that he has risen to become a director. He directed the film ‘Lockup’ during the lockdown period. ‘Lockup’ is an emotional work. Charles told me that this movie is better than ‘Lockup’, like superstar Rajinikanth’s dialogue in ‘Thalapati’. He said that he has directed this film ‘Soppana Sundari’ more commercially than ‘Lockup’. I saw some scenes and preview of this movie. This was to confirm his belief.
