Actress Anjali’s fiftieth film “Eegai” started shooting in Chennai.
Directed by Imayam Bharathiraja, Pushpa’s villain Sunil, Prince, Prema, debutant Hari, Abhi Nakshatra, Nishant Raghu, Krishna Chander, Kashyap Parbhaya and others are acting.

The launch of this film was held in Chennai in the presence of director Imayam Bharathiraja and producer association leader Murali.
The film is being produced in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi and will be shot in Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Being a suspenseful social film, “Eekai” says debutant director Ashok Velayutham, a collection of incidents in the life of a virtuous woman in the midst of violent and inhuman life in today’s society.
Taran Kumar composes the music for the film.
