Actress Ranjana Nachiyar stuns the K-Town by producing two movies at the same time!
Actress Ranjana Nachiyar kick-starts her production venture before embarking on her directorial journey

Actress Ranjana Nachiyar carved a niche of excellence by delivering unique and distinctive performances in a slew of appealing flicks like Thupparivalan, Irumbu Thirai, Annathey, Diary, Natpe Thunai and many more. She owns a heritage of excellent family background as she happens to be the grand daughter Ramanathapuram Samasthanam Raja Bhaskar Sethupathi, and the niece of Director Bala.
Ranjana Nachiyar embarked on her journey in the K-Town as an actress after showcasing an unparalleled spell in her academic studies like MSc, M Tech, and LLB (Honours). Out of pure passion and sheer aspiration to make it big in the industry, she exhibited her impeccable performance in the debut movie ‘Thupparivalan’ following which she continued to act in promising characters in a myriad of movies.
She delivered a stupendous performance in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Annathey, and Arulnithi’s Diary. The actress is now turning into a producer with the aspirations to make good movies.
Actress Ranjana Nachiyar’s production house Star Guru Film Productions will be producing a couple of projects at the same time. She has hence made the entire spotlights of Tamil film industry turned towards her with this bold decision.
One of the projects will be directed by Saravana Sakthi, who played a comedian in ‘Kutti Puli’ followed by directing movies like ‘Billa Pandi’, ‘Kulasamy’ and ‘Classmates’.
The other movie will be directed by debutant Shankar Pandian that features Vijay TV fame Pugazh in the lead role. Both the films are set against the village backdrops.
Speaking about entering film production, actress Ranjana says, “Although I came from a big family background, many consistently kept stating that I wouldn’t make it big in the movie industry. However, I proved myself a good actress, and now, would like to exhibit the same as a filmmaker.
Accordingly, as a first step, I have decided to launch the production house, thereby getting educated about the nuances of film in every department. Usually when male producers happen to kick-start their new projects after completing their current production, being a woman, I wanted to outperform by producing two movies at the same time. The official announcement about the actors and technicians in both these movies will be made soon.”
