A strong subject presented in a lighthearted manner with natural performances from the ensemble cast forms the format of the narration in this rural tale adeptly headlined by Ram Sangiah.

It is a breakthrough role for Rohini who steals the show on the merit of her spontaneity!

Pasupathi has already proved his credentials as an actor ever so many times earlier and it is no surprise that he has proved the same yet again!

Vivek Prasanna creates a flutter as a drunkard in his characteristic style.

The theme is about the greediness of the kith and kin who eye more on material interests of their parents’s wealth.

The director has created enough and more of moving sequences that are certain to steal the hearts of the viewers!

The presence and performance of the village grannies deserve special mention!

A thoroughly enjoyable fun and frolic filled film!

A small point to ponder-Rohini is showcased as a grand old lady, possibly in her sixties or even seventies while Pasupathi is presented as a person due for retirement in about ten days (so goes a dialogue!).
