Retired Justice K Chandru launches the trailer of Thankar Bachan’s ‘Karumegangal Kalaigindrana’
Filmmaker Thankar Bachan, the critically-acclaimed director of beautiful movies like Azhagi, Pallikoodam, Solla Marandha Kadhai, and many films is now gearing up for the release of his next film titled ‘Karumegangal Kalaigindrana’. The film is produced by Riota Media, featuring Iyakunar Imayam Bharathiraja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu and Aditi Balan in the titular characters.
The film features musical score by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Ekambaram and editing by B. Lenin. The film’s audio that was launched recently garnered good response with the Vairamuthu’s lyrical lines finding a phenomenal reception from everyone.
And now, Retired High Court Justice K. Chandru has launched the film’s trailer at his residence today (August 14, 2023) and wished Thankar Bachan and entire crew for a grand success.
Actor Suriya was gained National award for Best Actor marking his extraordinary performance in the film ‘Jai Bhim’. The film, based on a case, Justice Chandru encountered in his professional life highlighted his prominence to the people of Tamil Nadu.
Even after his retirement, he has been working in three commissions set up by the Tamil Nadu State Government, at his own expense without receiving a single rupee as salary. It is worth mentioning that Chief Justice Chandru recently donated more than 5000 law and literature books to Kalaignar Library that was opened in Madurai.
Bharathiraja plays the role of a honourable and honest judge, and director Thankar Bachan and the entire crew felt that it is best to have a similar person in real life to unveil the film’s trailer, and hence approached the Retired High Court Justice K. Chandru. Significantly, accepting their request, K. Chandru has launched the trailer. The film is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on September 1.
