‘Ganga Devi’ is produced by K.N.Bhoominathan under Kumaran Cinemas. Milkha Selvakumar, a disciple of Raghava Lawrence and the director of ‘Chandimuni’, is directing the film. It is shaping up to be a horror and crime thriller story
Mahana is playing the female lead in the heroine-centric film. He has acted in some films including ‘Karumegal Kalainaya’ and ‘Varalam Vaa’. Yogi Babu plays the lead role.
Rishi Rithvik, who starred in ‘Attu’, is playing the lead role. Nalini will play the lead role and both Aarti and Ganesh will play comic characters together for the first time as husband and wife in this film. Super Subparayan, Mota Rajendran, and Saitheena play the villainous roles.
Director Milkha Selvakumar says about the film, “This film is based on the murder of a man. A girl who is going to be the daughter-in-law of a zamin family enters the house, and many problems happen one after the other. The story of this film is who is responsible for it and how the zamin family and the woman deal with it.
The movie ‘Ganga Devi’ is a rebirth story in the style of ‘Nenjam Marappathillai’ and it has all the elements of horror, thriller and comedy,” he said.
The first phase of the film’s shooting will begin at Neikaran Patti near Palani on the coming Tamil New Year. After this, the shooting will continue in Palakkad Palace, Courtalam, Hyderabad and Chennai. A huge set is being erected for a song scene in Chennai.
