The pre-release launch event of Bhujji at Anupatti was held today at Prasad Lab Theater in the presence of the media. Speaking at the function, the film’s director Ram Kandasamy said,
“It takes two crore rupees to make a film. We were talking about making a film with a budget of Rs 50 lakh. One day when we were talking about making a film at home, my wife said something. Everyone talks about keeping a dog and a cat as a pet. But keeping a goat as a pet No one would talk about .But he talked about a pet goat.
They sold the goat raised like that. I went looking for it. He said that my father and mother came looking for me. It was a good line so I expanded it into a screenplay.
While telling stories to children, one day my daughter asked. Whether the goat was found again or not, then it was understood that their views were different. So we made this film from the point of view of those children to tell the story from their point of view. The girl who was originally supposed to act in it could not act. So even a week ago there was no knowing who would be performing. It was only then when Pranithi Sivasankaran came to act that we got hope. This kid has done a great job. She admitted to the audition at 12:00 pm due to sleep disturbance. They came to the film one by one. The cinematographer of the film, Arunmozhicholan, works very fast. We couldn’t match his speed. He worked on it like that.
He was introduced to music composer Karthik Raja through his friend Vel Manickam. When we reluctantly asked him, he said he would see. We left with all the footage we had taken. He said I will tell you after seeing. He did not comment for a few days. Later when we met him, he asked the same question as my daughter. Whether the goat was found or not. He liked the film and when we asked him what the salary would be, he said it was nothing. It was a big pleasant surprise for us. He has elevated the film by showing such commitment and composing excellent music.

Child star Pranithi Sivasankaran, who plays Durga in the film, speaks.
“Thanks to the director for giving me a chance in this film. The shooting was fun. They took good care of us,” he said.

‘I am just waiting for a good opportunity. This film seemed like a good opportunity for me. In this I have played the role of a police constable.
When Varadarajan, who plays the role of a butcher shop owner, speaks,
“I have dreams in cinema. I want to take Nambiar’s place as a villain. Superstar Rajinikanth wants to play a villain. I think it will come true. It’s a good film. Everyone should support the film,” he said.
