Produced by producer Aditya under the banner of Reel Good Films and directed by Vijaykumar in the lead role, the film will be released in theaters worldwide on May 17th under the banner of Shakti Film Factory and the famous distributor B. The press meet of Shakti Velan’s film ‘Election’ was held in Chennai.

Aditya, the producer of the film, while welcoming everyone, said, “First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to producer Jagadish, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and producer Karthikeyan Santhanam, who guided me to make my debut as a producer in the Tamil film industry.Narrator and writer of the film Azhagiya Periyavan, Cinematographer Mahendran Jayaraju, Cinematographer Premkumar, Art Director Esummalai, Fight Training Director Stunner Sam, Choreographer Krish, Sound Recording and Sound Mixing Annapurna Studios, Lyricists Karthik Netha, Yugabharathi and I would like to express my gratitude to all the technicians who worked for the film like Gnanakaravel, the team of production executives, Kaplan, the ad designer, Audio partner Tivo, Dinesh who took up the task of promoting the social media pages, Yuvraj, the public relations person.The director had written the Tamil story in such a way that all the actors who acted in this movie had importance in the screenplay. From Vijaykumar, Pavel Navgeethan, Dileepan, Nachiyal Sukanti, all the actors who have visited here have given their full contribution.This movie has two heroines. The director Tamil has given important roles to both Preethi Asrani and Richa Joshi who are playing the heroines and lead the story. They also realized this and acted well.I have spoken to Sakthivel of Shakti Film Factory twice on phone. I have worked with him in two films. So far I have not entered into any agreement with him. I also gave this picture to him. He will take care of everything. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank him for being so honest and generous in the Tamil film industry.Vijay Kumar and I are better friends than anyone else. Whenever he talked to me, he never talked about anything other than cinema. He knows nothing but cinema. He is the biggest reason for making this film. He has many new and fresh ideas about cinema. Well versed in all things cinema. Rather than thanking him, if I had to say it in one sentence, I would have to say that if it wasn’t for Vijay, I wouldn’t have.The director of this film was introduced to me through Tamil- Vijay Kumar. He gave me a bound script. I loved reading that story. Neatly written.’Election’ is a political film. Politics does not mean superficial politics. It has been a long time since such kind of movies have been released. I really enjoyed it. But never thought that this movie will be released at election time. The final stage of the film took more than six months. Following this, Shakti Film Factory Sakthivelan chooses an auspicious date and releases the film.We started the work of this film in 2021.
I would like to thank the director Tamil for giving such a wonderful story. This film is not a political propaganda film, it is a work that talks strongly about family relations and the director has given a good climax scene.I would also like to thank his assistants who coordinated everyone on the set and made the film.

The director told me to read it in Tamil. I was surprised and happy after reading his entire story. Because this story is all about politics. But not only politics.
