VetriMaaran has reiterated his confidence in Suri yet again after Viduthalai giving him more screen time than the other biggies in the cast! That said, Suri has risen to the occasion and is convincing again in the action sequences ; he is reasonably good in the acting department too barring the scene where he acts as though he is possessed! The romantic track between Suri and Revathi Sharma is also not very impressive. The nucleus of the plot is set around two childhood friends, Aadhi ( Sasikumar) and Karuna(Unni Mukundhan).Sokkan (Suri) is the trusted deputy of the latter who would not hesitate to interfere if someone crosses limits with Karuna and even Aadhi is no exception!
A smooth sail between the friends is disturbed by a Minister (R. V. Udhaya Kumar) who lets loose his henchman (Mime Gopi) to damage the prevailing peace! At a point, the friends turn foes and it Sokkan who gets sandwiched! Aadhi gets brutally murdered and Sokkan walks that extra mile to save Aadhi’ s family who are also targeted! The finale wherein Sokkan takes a deviation from his trust on Karuna is by and large predictable! The stunt sequences have been choreographed well. Yuvan ‘ s background score is mention worthy.
