Debuting in a film that showcases a complex theme that possesses multiple layers and nuances calls for a lot of guts!Vijay Kanishka, a fresher who is the son of the veteran filmmaker, Vikraman(the man behind several success stories on the screen) has accomplished this task in a commendable manner, kudos to the craft of the directorial duo!As ever, Sarath Kumar excels in a tailor – made role, walking away with the acting honors!Vijay Kanishka fits the character of a contemporary youth who lives by principles rather than succumbing to the pressure of the prevailing circumstances!A mysterious masked man chooses the protagonist as a target for some illegal and immoral activities that includes murders too!On the other side, he also shortlists another rowdy sheeter by kidnapping his sibling and the best part of this bargain is that the protagonist and this rowdy element are pitted against each other!The screenplay unfolds in a suspenseful manner ; so do the elements of mystery!K. Ramcharan’ s cinematography and C. Sathya’ s score are both value additions! HitList – a well crafted crime thriller that should definitely find a place in the list of films one has to definitely watch and enjoy!
