Venkat Prabhu to release ’Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu’ on August 2 for Friendship Day

Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has always had a strong bond with Friendship, which is evident in both his personal and professional life. The versatile Tamil industry figure is set to release a heartwarming film titled ‘Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu’, highlighting the essence of friendship in a captivating and enjoyable manner. The official release date for the film is August 2, coinciding with the World Friendship Day celebration on August 4, 2024.

Producer Aishwarya’s Masala Popcorn in association with White Feathers Studio is producing this film, which is written and directed by Ananth, who is playing the lead role as well.

Venkat Prabhu, in his official statement regarding the film’s theatrical release, expresses his belief in the beauty of friendship as a gift enjoyed by every person on earth. He emphasises the influence of his own friends on both his personal and professional life, and highlights the role of young friends in the vision behind the film. “I got associated with this film for the sake of friendship, and I am so happy that the film celebrates the essence of friendship,” adds Venkat Prabhu.

Furthermore, he adds that the significance of the film’s release date, which coincides with World Friendship Day weekend, and expresses confidence that it will be a treat for audiences. Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu has been shot exquisitely across the locales of Chennai and major episodes in Singapore.
