Filmmaker Maniratnam to launch ‘Gandhari’ Trailer!
R. Kannan’s directorial featuring Hansika Motwani in dual roles!
R. Kannan from Masala Pix is both producing and directing a cutting-edge horror-thriller called ‘Gandhari’, starring Hansika Motwani in the lead role, set for a global theatrical release in August.
The renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam will unveil the film’s audio and trailer on July 12, 2024, at 5 P.M.
The plot follows a young woman who serves as the head officer of the Hindu Trust Committee and delves into the research of an ancient mammoth structure called ‘Gandharva Kottai’ built by a former king centuries ago. She encounters unexpected surprises and shocking moments, with the film being filled with captivating twists and turns in the screenplay.
Actress Hansika Motwani takes on a dual role for the first time in her career, portraying both the Head of the Hindu Trust Committee and a tribal girl. The filmmakers anticipate this to be a significant milestone in her acting journey. The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Metro Sirish, Mayilsamy, Thalaivasal Vijay, Aadukalam Naren, Stunt Silva, Vinodhini, Pavan, Brigida Saga, Vadivel Murugan, Kalairani, and many others in pivotal roles.
R. Kannan is at the helm of directing and producing this film under his banner Masala Pix. Tholkappiyan is the story writer, Dhananjayan is the screenwriter, Srini is responsible for dialogues, Balasubramanian is the cinematographer, and LV Ganesh Muthu is composing the music with Jijinthra as the editor. Stunt Silva is in charge of choreographing the action sequences, Sivashankar is the production executive, and Johnson is managing public relations for the film.
