The movie ‘Narkarapor’ is being produced by S.Velayutham on behalf of V6 Film Pvt Ltd. The film has been directed by Sri Vetri, who worked as an assistant director for H.Vinoth, Rajapandi and other directors.
How does someone from a scavenging society become a ‘Grand Master’? For that, this ‘Narkarapor’ has been developed as a beautiful sports drama that tells about the problems he faces, focusing on the game of chess.
Actress Aparnathy, who gained attention with the film Irukkapapathu, will play the lead role, while Ashwin, who starred in Sethuman, will play the central character of the film. Kaala, Kabali fame Lingesh and Suresh Menon play the villain.
Arjun Ravi, son of famous Malayalam director Major Ravi, will make his debut as a cinematographer in Tamil with this film. Dinesh Antony, who has worked with Santhosh Narayanan in many films, is composing the music for this film. Ranjith CK is handling the editing.
Producer Suresh Kamakshi is releasing the film across Tamil Nadu on behalf of his V House Productions. Recently the first look poster and teaser of the film has been released and it has been well received by the fans.. While the film is slated to release on 9th August, the trailer and song release ceremony of the film was held at Saligramam Prasad Label in Chennai yesterday evening.
Speaking at the event, actor Lingesh said, “Thank you to producer Velayutham for coming forward to produce this story with confidence. After the completion of the film, the producer Suresh Kamatshi joined in to take it to the people and there was satisfaction and happiness. Art director Raghavan is the reason why I came into this film. I was reluctant to act in this film due to the salary I asked for, when Raghavan told me that it is a story about cleaners, I agreed to act in it without further discussion. This is an important film and it talks terribly about politics,” he said.
Director Lenin Bharati said, “Sports alone can be divided into two categories. One is physical activity. Another is brain-based. Black people all over the world continue to excel in manual sports. But a group of people here continue to believe in a false idea that a strong body does not have a brain. Not only sports but recently there is a certain crowd in commentating on cricket and football.
