India, 02 July 2024: ZEE5, India’s largest leading home video streaming platform, has released its latest direct-to-digital film Raadu Ka Raas. Produced by ZEE Studios and Fat Fish Records, this action thriller directed by Anand Surapur stars popular actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role as police officer Deepak Negi. The story of the film is set in the picturesque village of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand. After the success of last year’s Hadithi, ZEE5, ZEE Studios and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have teamed up again for “Rautu Ka Raaz” and there are huge expectations for the film.
In a village that hasn’t had a murder in over fifteen years, suddenly a warden at a school for the blind is mysteriously murdered. His team including SHO Deepak Negi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Inspector Timri (Rajesh Kumar) embark on this mysterious murder investigation. The film gives the audience a unique blend of suspense and comedy. The film was well received during its premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year and is now streaming on ZEE5.
