For the first time in the history of the screen world, the first Tamil film produced and directed by a romantic couple IL Tha Ka Sai Aa
Sada Nadar and Monica Selena said that the film will be an action thriller with a quirky screenplay.
The movie is written and directed by Sada Nadar, a couple from Erode district. His wife Monica Selena is the heroine. This is probably the first time in Tamil cinema that husband and wife have acted as debutant heroines and directed and produced by themselves.
When director Sada Nadar talks about the film,
I have been interested in cinema as well as politics since childhood.
I thought of doing something for our society through movies. Like a preview before that

Me and my wife Monica Selena have worked together in this. Both my romantic wives are playing the hero and heroine. I am the hero and my wife Monica Selena is the heroine. We co-direct and produce ourselves
Apart from us, many artists have acted in it.
We have made a full movie with a delicious screenplay about how a person with a romantic wife in a family faces and deals with a problem.
We have completed shooting for this in Ooty, Erode, Chennai, Coimbatore, Yercaud, Pondicherry, East Coast Road, Goa.
We have made this film to watch with family.
I have never been an assistant director to anyone. There are many things that can be learned by watching movies. So we have finished shooting this film with the confidence that we can tell the story we have created and we feel it has come out well.
We hope that the film will satisfy the audience,” he says.
Speaking about the film, Monica Selena, the film’s heroine and Sada Nadar’s wife, said,
I have been interested in cinema since childhood. Because my father acted in two films. My grandfather made it. I got into cinema by watching it through my father
The interest was there. When my husband also gave me the opportunity, I happily took on the role of co-director in this film and shared the work. “I have played the female lead in this film. This film is being made in such a way that everyone will like it,” he says.
The film is produced by Kapil Creations. Cinematography by MS Manokumar. Music by EJ. Johnson, Cinematography by Bharani Selvam. K. Sudandran as the lyricist, Suresh Sharma as the background music, what is surprising is that the actors, technicians, music director, cinematographer are all new faces in this film. This is a new venture of Tamil cinema ‘IL Thaka Saiya’.
