A new song titled Viduthalai has been released, encouraging listeners to rethink the concept of freedom from a fresh perspective. ‘The Freedom Anthem’ emphasizes that while freedom is often seen as something granted by others, it is our own actions that can hinder true liberation.
Composed by Jerard Felix, with lyrics by Madhan Karky and vocals by Deepak Blue, this ‘Freedom Anthem’ addresses various aspects of freedom: knowledge seeking liberation from the constraints of exams, beauty from being judged by skin tone, truth from the burden of lies and the need to free ourselves from digital dependence. The song also highlights the importance of freeing love from the constraints of religion and caste discrimination. It also pays homage to the freedom fighters who struggled for the freedoms we enjoy today.
