They say that the one who is in love is the one who does not know how to survive..! The mother instinct of all emotions is love. This cute guy is telling you how beautiful it is to be loved.
That’s what affected me
This script. I see this as a life. Life is a movie that we cannot imagine. It is literature and cinema that touch man with love. The language of cinema is always simple. This lovely person is a pile of feelings and thoughts that are not yet bound to our eyes.
Here love and valor must exist, we are in an era where love is no more. But there are those who can be loved. This world is even better because someone faceless shows the love they can for me and you. It is true that some people cannot help but love. If everyone can be like that, here crimes and chaos will be reduced by love.
My film ’96’ is not a romantic film. And that is teaching love. There is no romance in it. If we keep 96 as the first point of Anboda, then ‘Meiyazhagan’ is the second point. People are used to hate. I mean everyone. I thought it would be better if we could call love into a beautiful, artistic or intelligent way. My first job was to try to plant love. All the religion is then. Such a good attempt would be Meiyazhagan.
I had written three stories during Corona. I also wrote a short story. Some director friends who read it told me that the story was good and I sat down to write the same as a novel. Only a part of this is 96. I gave it to Vijay Sethupathi to read once before publishing it as a novel. Sethu read and started celebrating. Gathered as a congregation, he read it to everyone and hugged and fondled his eyes. He likes my writing very much. He made me a director. He said that we can make it into a book and then make it into a film first. 96 During the shooting, Sethu asked who else can do this story if I don’t do it. The only name I mentioned was Karthi. After reading this novel of mine, Karthi asked how you wrote such a story.
I sighed. Then after seeing Surya sir, ‘Meiyazhagan’ started in 2D.
The story takes place in Neetamangalam, Thanjavur. The film is about a conversation between two people. There are two main characters in the film. Karti, Arvindsamy. This story has gone down well in Karthi’s mind. A character that is dear to him. He can show even anger with love. Even sadness can be expressed only with love. There is no room for hatred. Some remain childish and holy. It is different to read a scene and act well. If you grasp its essence, you don’t need to do anything else.
Arvindswamy should come to a place where he wants to have a noble personality. A quiet person who has seen a great tragedy in his life and is unable to recover from it. A character who has a lot of love inside but doesn’t show it. Arvindsamy is the one who thinks that we should look after ourselves without trusting anyone too much. He would have changed because of a loss. He has not only beauty, color and personality but also generosity. It suits him so well. There was like an elder brother in the family.
Rajkiran, Arvindsamy’s maternal uncle. Great grandfather to Karthi. A very sentimental role. A comedy role is also associated with him.
Devadarshini is Aravindsamy’s Jodi. This is their best role. There is almost a place for a heroine. Sridivya opposite Karthi. A wife who does not let go of her husband and carries him as he is. Karunakaran will play the role of a conductor in just one scene. The twist of the story starts from there. JP Sir played the role of Aravindsamy’s father.

Govinda Vasantha’s music is like a village feast. He knocked his mind like that. Even those who heard the story without knowing the context cried. Tears welled up in his eyes.
