A special preview of the film, which will hit theaters tomorrow (August 30), was screened for the press on August 28.Director and producer Loga Padmanabhan, who met the press after the special screening, said, “Sembian Madevi is a film based on true events. The incidents in the film are happening not only in Tamil Nadu but also in some part of the country. No one can deny that such incidents are not happening now.” He said.How many theaters are you releasing the film in? Responding to the question, Padma Loganathan said, “That is the question mark till today. Till date we have not got theaters. There are four theaters in my hometown, but not even one of them has given me a single show. I have spent so much money and made a film for the society, but I am worried that I have not been allotted theaters yet. I am in the Producers’ Union and have appealed to them as well. But the fact that I don’t get theatres, is a huge pain.” He said.And is love the solution to the caste problem? To the question, “I have not given any solution in this, I have only told how lovers are degraded due to caste discrimination.
