Joint families shrunk into nuclear families and now after the Court verdict, live – in relationships have become common and has been accepted as an approved norm in the society. With such a trend prevailing, there has been a total disintegration amidst family members and relationships such as elder/younger brother /sister, uncles, aunties etc are no more relevant with timelessness being the order of the day. This flick has its theme set around a family consisting of a hard working widowed mother, her three sons and a daughter! As the sons get settled, problems crop up and the joint family splits. How the family reunites long after the passing away of the mother is the long drawn rest. The setting and treatment may appear a bit old fashioned but the crux of the plot leaves valid points to be pondered over! Set in a rural environment, the film offers some food for thought for all those who miss joint life living!
