Actor Rahman’s First-Ever Action Comedy Entertainer ‘Bad Boyz’!

Actor Rahman, renowned for his roles as a lead in over 200 films across Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, is currently featured in the forthcoming film #BadBoys. While he has portrayed various romantic, sentimental, and action roles throughout his career, this marks his first-ever leap into a domain of character infused with action and comedy.
The film’s teaser and songs have already garnered phenomenal response, and the film is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on September 13 for the festive occasions of Onam.
Shedding lights on the film Bad Boyz, Evergreen Actor Rahman says, “After several years, I found great pleasure in the hilarious scenes of the film, and the entire filming experience was remarkably relaxing. Director Omar shared this narrative with me after he started feeling tired of portraying serious roles and scripts for the past many years. As he and the writer Sarang narrated the story, I was both laughing and attentively listening. The basic idea of this film is that no matter our age, there exists a sense of childlike excitement and heroism within our minds. This is pretty common among everyone, and so is our protagonist “Aandappan”. He is uneducated but has so much love and affection in his heart. He is readily available to extend his helping hands to the needy. This role is different, new and fresh from what I have essayed in my erstwhile movies. The character ‘Aandappan’ has different body language, mannerisms, activities and appearance. I am so glad that Omar offered such a different character, banking his trust in me. It’s because I haven’t done such a full-length comedy role and film till now. This will be a fun movie that will savour everyone’s tastes. I developed a desire to act in such movies after working at Bad Boyz. This movie has gifted me a wholesome satisfaction, and will be a fun-filled entertainer for family crowds.”
Alby is handling cinematography and Phoenix Prabhu is choreographing action sequences. The teaser and songs of Bad Boyz have garnered a good reception from the fans, and the expectations for the film’s release have peaked.
