Each of one would have had childhood acquaintances but as time unfolds not all of those with whom we were acquainted, we tend to remember and recollect!
Here is a classic instance of one such acquaintance in which the younger one remembers and recollects but not the elder one!
So what? Is it a crime not to remember!
Certainly not!
But this is exactly the premises upon which the elder one, Arulmozhi (Aravindsamy, excellent), stealing a match over the protagonist, especially in the closing sequences!
Karthi too appears to be in good form in the title role and his effortless ease is commendable!
Cute looking Sridivya is adequate but there is no much scope for her!
There are one too characters without much of a big purpose – Raj Kiran, Karunakaran, Ilavarasu etc who only contribute to the film’ s unnecessary length. Govindaraj, the editor has been too very liberal – the reception drama, the dialogue exchanges between the lead artistes in drunken stupor and a few more sequences could have been pruned, not a bit but longer enough to sustain the sustained interest of the viewers!
Govind Vasantha ‘ s music is an USP!
The cinematography of Mahendran Jayaraju is picture perfect and pleasant, especially the aerial shots.
