Reality show winner Paruthiveeran Sujatha!

Paruthiveeran Sujatha, who is famous for playing various character roles in films, has now won the finale of Sun TV’s new reality show ‘Top Cook Dupe Cook’ and became the title winner.

This is the first full-length big reality show for actor Sujatha, who initially appeared only in a couple of TV shows. In the cooking competition, he was initially criticized for his easy pumpkin sambar. But now the surprise is that he himself has become the title winner.

Speaking to him:

How was the journey from cinema to TV to this show?

I am acting in Tamil films. When directors and producers call me, I come to Chennai or go to other cities to perform. Otherwise my family is in Madurai.

In this case, many invited me to the TV reality show. Why did I get a call even for Bigg Boss last time? But the dates are not correct. So I avoided it because it would disturb the films I was playing. So there is a lot to avoid in participating in such TV shows. In such a situation, the team of media masons who produced Kukwith Komali show on Vijay TV called me several times. It’s true that I was hesitant at first, but after going into the show, I got involved. Here it is, the title winner.

How do you cook at home as a cooking show winner?

Cooking is not a burden, it is an art.
I love to cook and I love to be involved and innovative. I cook especially non-vegetarian food very well. Come to my house and ask if this is true or false. But cooking at home is different… cooking in a competition isn’t it?

You are a good cook and you were criticized for the sambar you made on that show. How did you feel then?

I have to say that I was not hooked on the show at first. It took four or five weeks for me to understand what they were expecting. So I have to say that four or five episodes were not that interesting and I didn’t contribute. I mean, I started with home made curry dosa, ada dosa, garlic chicken which I usually make at home. It was without such an understanding that I came and placed the sambar. For that, Chef Venkatesh Bhatt said that it is very easy to cook at home, although I was sad but those words made me think.

I am usually a keen cook at home. I was not only sad but also angry that our cooking was criticized. I started thinking about what was wrong with me.
I felt like my ego was boosted. I couldn’t take it for granted.
That interest in me turned into an obsession and at one point became an obsession. I got angry. I was determined to make a name for myself in cooking somehow. I started researching a lot of recipes. My daughters also helped me in this matter. My husband was also supportive. I searched and discovered many new varieties.

They will see something else in the competitions of this type of shows.
Taste is important in cooking. But they say the taste is good, the presentation is not good. Only later did I know that there are many other things like this. I searched for everything.

What made you satisfied with your cooking?

I started cooking on that show and was selected as Chef of the Week and won the Chef of the Week award six times.

Many dishes I made were appreciated. Ravioli pasta, brownie cake made with Kudhiraiwali rice, ice cream, mercika salna made with Andhra green chillies, lice pannacotta made with betel leaves in Dinami, Chennai Rayapuram fish dinner, red Alaska etc. were greatly appreciated.

They make Pongal, Puttu and Porridge with horseradish rice. The brownie cake I made was much appreciated. Nobody believed it. They appreciated the ice cream made in it so much. Generally I was not interested in bakery items. After getting down for this I searched seriously. It is the result of that search. It is about cooking
It was because he kept that passion undiminished till the end
I finally became the title winner.
Chef Venkatesh Bhatt, who was the judge at the time, while speaking mentioned about criticizing a sambar that I put at the beginning. He also said that if one stimulates one’s ego from this, they will succeed and achieve.

In shows like this, they bring in an elimination round to eliminate the contestants and put the contestants under stress..how was that experience?

I made it to the elimination round twice. Beyond that I progressed. Then a
The tension and fear made me stay there. I don’t have that kind of stress when I act in films.

Could this show have had the comedic distraction of dope cooks without letting you cook freely?

That’s the nature of the show.

The antics of the dope cooks must overcome these obstacles to cook and succeed. In a way, it is like running over hurdles. I have scolded and beaten many people when they do such antics. I insulted the referee like this without even knowing him. At first I thought that usually these kind of shows are like a play. I thought that they would plan what to say… how to behave and make them do it accordingly. But in this program we can speak freely as we wish. Let’s react. I can speak naturally and behave as I feel. That made me feel comfortable. Because of this, sometimes I have crossed the line and scolded some people. Everyone has become like a family and they took it easy.

What about the two sharing the title winner prize together in this show?

The boy, NB aka Narendra Prasad, is very cheerful and always smiling. Anxious brother. Although we are all like family, only he has become like my son. I am very happy to share this title winner prize along with my son. Everyone who was there became like a family, so we were in the mood to accept whoever got the prize as their own. Excited and loving young man. I was more happy to be with him. There was a feeling of being with my family. My family members were also happy for this.

Now when they go out, how do they talk about the TV show?

Generally Tamil Nadu people see me in films and think of me as one of their family. Now they feel very close through the small screen. Wherever you go, whenever you see them, they encourage you to win, to win, to do well. They say we are waiting for that final day. Their wishes and blessings are fulfilled today. Now I will face them happily.

What’s the difference in shooting experiences?

Two films are coming up.I am acting in two more films.

There is a difference between film and television. Listening to the director’s words and acting as the character in the film was a kind of experience in which we became ourselves. That experience was new. We don’t have to act in this show, we just express ourselves. During the shooting of movies there are gaps between scenes. There were even shootings from morning to midnight. It was a different kind of experience. We got along like a family and there was an understanding between us. The crew of Media Masons took good care of us. At this time I have to thank director Parthiv and Sun TV.
At this time, I would like to thank the judges Venkatesh Bhatt sir, Ram Mohan sir, Kaushik sir who always gave their opinion openly whether it was good or bad, and Chef Sheruba who supported me.

At the same time, I would like to thank my daughters and my husband who have supported me.
