‘Aryamala’ to get limelight with ‘Vataiyaan’

Produced by Vadalore J Sudha Rajalakshmi, ‘Aryamala’ is produced by Jana Joy Movies and the team. RS Karthy of ‘Beechangai’ fame is playing the lead role and Manisha Jith is playing the heroine. The film is a beautiful love story centered on street art in the eighties.

The story is based on the famous mythological play Aryamala-Kathavarayan, starring the veteran actors of Tamil cinema such as PU Chinnappa and actor Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan.

Manisha Jith has given an excellent performance in the titular role of Aryamala in this film centered on the heroine. She acted as a child star as his daughter in Sarathkumar starrer Gambeeram. Later, she has the experience of acting as the heroine in many films including Vindiya and Bierya.

RS Karthik, who gained attention with the film Beechangi, plays a street artist in this film. The late playback singer Bhavatharini has sung a song called Athipoovappola in this film. His last song was for this film.

This film is releasing on October 18. In this situation, Nayan RS Karthi shared some things about the experience of acting in this film and about the different promotion that they are going to do.

“Love in this film is not just a talk but an exchange of eyes. That is the specialty of this film. I played a street artist in the guise of Kathavarayan. Surprisingly, I will enter only after the break of the film. Throughout the first half the events that happen around the heroine and after the interval my character is created as a solace for her thoughts and feelings. I was naturally interested in becoming a street artist. Not only that, I also had the experience of acting in street theater through some street dramas. Even though my character comes after the break, I agreed to do it because I wanted to do it and because the story was strong.

It was during the shoot that I got some thorough training from the street artists who came to work for the film about their style and fashion. Not only that, the film also features the late Sivashankar Master as a koothu artist in an important role. Those days with him were unforgettable. When we shot this film in the villages, it was a joy and a surprise that all the people of the village came and sat as spectators and cheered us on daily, realizing that we were doing this Aryamala play for real.

As this film is releasing on October 18th, as a part of its promotion, I have decided to go to theaters in many towns in Tamilnadu from October 10th to 15th with the same Koothuk Kalaignan Ketap to promote this film to people. Especially since Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vediyaan will be released at that time, I think we will be able to introduce our film ‘Aryamala’ to the fans who gather in front of the theaters where the film is playing, so I think we can convey this film to the fans in a beautiful way,” he says.
