Leading actor Jayam Ravi has joined hands with the powerhouse production giant BTG Universal for two new projects. These films are expected to be grand commercial ventures and their details will soon be officially announced.
BTG Universal which has made a mark in Tamil cinema by producing several notable films has now partnered with Jayam Ravi who has been a leading star in the industry for over 20 years.
Mr. Bobby Balachandran, a prominent figure in the global software space, including data privacy and cyber forensics, has entered Tamil cinema through BTG Universal as its founder and producer. Dr. M. Manoj Beno, who previously worked as the head in leading production houses is the Head Of Strategy of BTG Universal. He oversees the company’s creative output and the entire executive, operational and administrative matters. BTG Universal under the vision of Bobby is committed to producing good content regardless of the size of the project, and aims to create films that resonate with audiences.
Previously the company produced the horror film “Demonte Colony 2,” directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and starring Arulnithi, which was a blockbuster success. Following that, their next project, “Chennai City Gangsters,” a comedy-drama directed by Vikram Rajeshwar and starring Vaibhav and Athulya, is set to release soon.
Their third venture, “Rettathala,” featuring Arun Vijay and directed by “Maan Karate” fame Krish Thirukumaran is also being made on a grand scale and nearing completion. Now the company is gearing up to produce two massive commercial films starring Jayam Ravi.
