Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan unveils first single from ‘Eleven’, a racy investigative thriller produced in Tamil and Telugu by AR Entertainment and directed by Lokkesh Ajls with Naveen Chandra and Reyaa Hari in lead roles

The first single from ‘Eleven’, a fast-paced investigative thriller being made in both Tamil and Telugu, was unveiled today by Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan. Composed by D. Imman, the energetic song has been crooned by Shruti Haasan, with lyrics fully in English by the movie’s director Lokkesh Ajls. Titled ‘The Devil is Waiting,’ the song has been released by leading music label Saregama.

Ajmal Khan and Reyaa Hari are bankrolling ‘Eleven’ as their third production venture under AR Entertainment banner, following the critically acclaimed hits ‘Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal’ and ‘Sembi’.

Lokkesh Ajls, who had worked as associate director to director Sundar C in films ‘Kalakalappu 2’, ‘Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven’ and ‘Action’, is directing ‘Eleven’.

Talking about the first single, the director says, “The Devil Is Waiting is an energetic song in English made with high standards. The music by D. Imman and the voice and rendition of Shruti Haasan are main strengths for the song. The number is about the protagonist and the antagonist. We believe this song will receive a great response from fans and generate expectations for the film.”

Naveen Chandra is playing the lead role in this film. His previous ventures include ‘Jigarthanda Double X’, ‘Inspector Rishi’ web series, ‘Sarabham’, ‘Sivappu’ and Sasikumar’s ‘Bramman’. He is currently playing the antagonist in director Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan as protagonist.

Reyaa Hari, who acted in ‘Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal’, is playing the female lead in the film, which stars Abhirami of ‘Virumandi’ fame, Aadukalam Naren, Dileepan of ‘Vathikuchi’ fame, Riythvika of ‘Madras’ fame, and Arjai in key roles.

Music for the film is composed by D. Imman. Karthik Ashokan who has experience in Bollywood handles cinematography. National Award-winning Srikanth N B is the editor.

Sharing more information about ‘Eleven’, director Lokkesh Ajls said, “it will be a fast-paced investigative thriller that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats from the beginning to the end. Talented actors and technicians have been roped in for the film. I hope the film will be liked by everyone.”
