Messenger is a film produced by B. Vijayan on behalf of PVK FILM FACTORY. Sriram Karthik is playing the lead role. He has acted as the lead in films like Kannimadam, Yuddhakandam Pharagaad (Malayalam) and also in a special appearance in the currently successful film Saar. Manisha Jasnani, Fatima Naheem and Vaisali Ravichandran are playing the lead roles.
Along with them, Livingstone, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Jeeva Ravi, Yamuna, Kothandan, It’s Prashanth, Koolsuresh, Rajeshwari have played the main roles. Ramesh Ilangamani has written and directed the story and screenplay. He is director A.R. Gandhi has worked as an assistant director to Krishna and director Badri.
Sriram Karthik, who works in an IT company, tries to commit suicide due to love failure. Then a woman messages him on his Facebook messenger and blocks him. Shriram asks Karthik by texting her how she knew how she was going to commit suicide, and she tells her that she died because of it. The story of this messenger is how a dead woman saved her life and how Sriram Karthik goes to find out who that woman is. They have made the film in the style of a fantasy love story.
Pala Ganesan has done the cinematography for the film and Prasanth has done the editing. Abu Bakar has composed the music and Balasubramanian has done the artwork. Chandavi, Sathya Prakash, and Kapil Kapilan have sung the songs for Dakshan and Prashant.
It has been shot in Vikravandi and its surrounding villages and in Chennai. The first look poster of the film which is gearing up for release was released recently and went viral on social media. The makers are going to release the teaser and trailer soon.
