Here is a filmmaker who has taken up a theme on time travel while deliberating on the life and times of the Scientist turned President, Sri. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
The film begins in the contemporary scenario with Prabha an aspiring scientist whose girlfriend is Kamala(a traffic cop).
Prabha’s dad runs a mobile eatery and procures an auto for him to eke out a living unmindful of the fact that his son has great expectations!
Arrives a boy named Kalam from Rameswaram carrying a letter to meet the Dean of Madras University. He has Hailed from 1948 and finds the city of Chennai to be ahead of its times!
The contemporary scenario is set in 2023 and the journey of Prabha and Kalam provides the audience a delightful journey. Further, the late entry of Kathadi Ramamurthi adds pep to the proceedings and the journey turns more interesting!
A well thought out script that has been executed effectively.
A worthwhile attempt that has worked out well…
