What was formerly, Ma. Po. Si. has now hit the screens with this title.
The crux of the plot is about the education – revolution in a remote village with the powers that be discriminating those hailing from lower castes ensuring that their offspring do not access even primary education.
A retired headmaster tries to take up the cause of the locals by opening a school much to the displeasure of the powers that be and even succeeds to a reasonable extent.
His son (Saravanan) carries the policy – torch of his father and even takes the initiative to ensure too takes up the noble profession.
Saravanan retires as the headmaster of that Middle School but not before his son Gnanam (Vemal) gets transferred to that school there.
Gnanam falls for the charms of a good looking lady teacher who too joins along.
The interval-break following which the screenplay picks up steam. Gnanam now takes up his dad’ s cause so as to upgrade the premises into a High School.
The rest is predictable with the usual cinematic twists!
