Films the themes of which were centred around rural backdrops have been dime a dozen!
Here is yet another on the same premise of clashes amidst villagers but this flick stands out as it deals with a delicate issue!
The neighboring villages are peopled by folks who are split not exactly geographically but by virtue of ego clashes!
Even minor problems get magnified and it takes time to get resolved.
As the water tank is located in one neighborhood, the folks of the other neighborhood are solely dependent on the other!
While this is on the one side, people belonging to both the places migrate temporarily to the neighboring State to work in a juice factory.
The localities provoke the migrants and even resort to extreme humiliation, the ever prevailing water issue prevailing between the 2 States referred to metamorphically.
The climax sequences are a bit too crude but drive home a message.
The spoken words in Kannada while subtitles help the viewers for smooth understanding, appears to be a refreshing change.
While Sridhar ‘s camera work deserves mention, Sean Roldan deserves a pat on his back for his scintillating song numbers.
