Actor Soundararaja is famous for playing different characters in the Tamil film industry. He has been a member of the executive committee of the South Indian Actors’ Association for the past 3 years. Apart from acting, he is involved in social work and is also involved in tree planting and environmental protection services.
In this context, actor Soundararaja participated in the 102nd Guru Puja of Thavathiru D.T. Sankaradasa Swamigal held in Madurai. On behalf of the South Indian Actors’ Association, its Vice President Mr. Poochy Murugan and actor Soundararaja, a member of the executive committee of the South Indian Actors’ Association, participated.
The Guru Puja ceremony of Sankara Das Swami was attended by Madurai Natak Nadigar Sangam executives, executive committee members, Sangam members and many others.
It is noteworthy that Sankara Das Swamigal, known as the father of Tamil drama and the Tamil drama renaissance man, staged 63 plays on stage for more than 30 years with Tamil drama as his inspiration. He died in November 1922 in Puducherry.
