A film named ‘Kalla Nottu’ is being made based on a story about counterfeit notes.
This film is directed by M.G. Rayan has written and directed the film. Sampath Kumar A has handled the cinematography. Muthu Kodappa has edited the film. M.G. Rajendran has produced it under the banner of M.G. Raw Film Factory.
‘Kalla Nottu’ features M.G. Rayan as the hero, Madhu as the heroine, Kumar, Mippusamy as the villain, Sumathi as the villain, and N. Ranjithkumar as the hero’s friend. N. Rajendran also plays the lead role.

The teaser launch of the film ‘Kalla Note’ was held in Chennai. M.G., who is directing the film, was present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Rayan said,
“This film about counterfeit notes has come out well. I believe it is definitely a different storyline.
In this, the idea that counterfeit notes are better than fake notes is also mentioned. You will understand what that is by watching the film. In this, we have not talked about politics, but we have shown the current situation in the country. We have not raised any controversies, but we have told the truth,” he said.
Actress Sumathi, who has played an important role in the film, said,
‘I have acted in many films. A film that I will never forget is counterfeit notes. In this, my role is of importance to a heroine.
The director shot the scenes again and again until he was satisfied. He has sculpted this film after watching each one. The dialogues of this film will be spoken. In this film, I have played the character of Karungali. It is a cruel character. When I finished acting, I was scared. “I acted while holding a cigar in the film. That’s why I got used to holding a cigarette. At that time, the smoke got into my nose and I had a lot of trouble. But I acted for that character. Everyone should go to the theater and watch the film,” he said.
