Produced by Red Giant Movies, directed by Krithika Udhayanidhi, the film “Kadhalikka Neramillai” is a romantic thriller starring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menon. The film will hit the screens on January 14 as a Pongal celebration. Krithika gave me this screenplay 2 years ago. I read a few pages and talked to her a lot. I was surprised how she wrote this screenplay. Jayam Ravi sir is a lioness’ creation. Jayam Ravi has given a very mature performance. Nithya Menon has given a perfect performance. She is an angelic actor. I am watching Vinay after Unnaale Unnaale Patta. She has acted very beautifully. “Kadalikka Neramillai” is a very special film, a genre that I really like. It’s a big journey for Krithika madam and me. Madam, when I wrote the story, I said, “You have written this very bold and mature.” When I saw how they had shot it visually, I was even more surprised. They had shot the film very maturely. This is the best film that Madam has shot. They gave me a lot of references in editing. I am a huge fan of the three wonderful actors, Jayam Ravi, Nithya Menon, and Vinay sir. Bhanu has acted brilliantly in one part of the film. All the technicians have given their full effort. After all the work was done, I saw the music of the hero AR and it was on a different level. We have given a good film, watch it and support me, thank you.

The director Krithika has given me a very different role. I always depend on the director. This is the first time in my career that I have acted in a film directed by a female director. She has directed it very brilliantly. The set was so much fun. The way she controlled the set was amazing. She has made social comments with small comedy scenes. I met A R Rahman for the first time through this film. I met DJ Bhanu in this film. She is a very wonderful actress. Jayam Ravi is a very good actor. I don’t know how to dance at all. But Ravi dances very beautifully. The cinematographer has shown us all beautifully. The film has come out very well, thanks to everyone.

Whenever I listen to the story, I always have doubts whether this story will come out on screen. It has come out wonderfully in this film. Krithika is a good friend of mine. She has blended well as a writer and director. Everyone on this set was natural without any ego, that is also the reason why the film came out well. This is not a rom-com, there is a lot of drama in the film. Krithika has handled it beautifully. I am proud to have made this film. I like the film, you will like it too. It is a very beautiful stage, it is a pleasure to work with them. The director has captured this beauty very beautifully. The title was awesome. I am happy to have got the title of a classic film. Why did they ask your name after Nithya Menon in the film, it is my confidence in me. Why not? I have broken many things in my film career, why not this one? I took this decision after watching Shahrukh Khan sir. Without women, our world is nothing, without them we are nothing, I will follow this in the film by female directors. I had a very difficult time, the films I acted in did not work, I thought what mistake I did. Why bother when there is no fault on me
I felt like I should. My three films will be hits next year. Falling is not a failure, falling and not getting up is a failure. I will definitely come back this year. I have been doing a very good series of films. No time to love, Balachander sir would have broken many things in his films in a general way. Similarly, Krithika has done it in the Gen Z generation. This is a UA certificate film, everyone should come and watch it with their families and enjoy it, thank you.

Media friends have always supported me, support this film too. When I first told the story to Jayam Ravi, normally all the heroes would ask how many guns, how many knives, how many fights there will be, action film heroes would hesitate to do other genre films, I said that there is not even a small knife in our film. But he trusted me that I would do it. He did not think at any point. He has acted very well. It’s very embarrassing that he compared me to Balachander sir. I’m a big fan of his, I’m happy to be compared to him. Nithya Menen has always been very selective in choosing stories to act in. Before telling this story, I hesitated a little. I was hesitant whether he would agree or not. But as soon as he asked, he said I would do it. He has acted very boldly. When Vinay told me about this character, he hesitated whether I would be set, but he has done it well. Bhanu is a small character, he did not agree at first, my team showed many others, but no one suited me, Bhanu was in my mind till the end. He agreed to act saying I will not let him go. The shooting spot will be fun only if Yogi Babu comes. It is impossible to make a Tamil film without Yogi Babu, he has also done a small role. The reason why this film is visually good is because of Kavmik’s hard work, and Kishore has done a lot in editing. He and I learned a lot about cinema on the editing table. There is a lot to say about A R Rahman sir. He says, “Tell me anything about the music,” how can he comment on music, he himself does not realize that he is a legend. Many people think that the production is my own production, but I have to account for everything, I am a producer-friendly director. This film has become my dream come true, I hope you all like it, thank you.
In a different screenplay by director Krithika Udhayanidhi, the film, which is being developed as a different love epic, stars leading actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role and Nithya Menon in the female lead. Along with them, actors Vinay, Yogi Babu, T J Bhanu, Lal, John Cocaine, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan play important roles.
The film, which has been produced on a grand scale by Red Giant Movies, is co-produced by Mr. Senbagamoorthy. The music is composed by A R Rahman. U Kevmik Aari is the cinematographer and Lawrence Kishore is the editor.
It will be released in theaters worldwide on January 14, a day after Pongal.
